In her role as Managing Director for Southern & Eastern Europe, Federica is in charge of Spotify's operations on this region's markets and oversees local teams with a specific focus on content, marketing and partnerships.
Federica has over 15 years of experience in international media, distribution and innovation. Pre-Spotify, she worked at YouTube TV/Google where she joined the US leadership team that launched YouTube TV in 2017, and finalized deals with local affiliate networks and international broadcasters. Prior to her U.S. experience, she worked on launching YouTube in several Southern European countries and was in charge of developing content partnerships with various media and publishing groups (e.g. Mediaset, Rai, Viacom, Sky, Fox, Disney).
Previously, she had worked as international media partnerships manager at Buongiorno, an Italian start-up, and her career in the music and content business began at BMG/Sony Publishing, where she was a member of the Pop Music division.
Federica graduated from Bocconi University with a degree in Economics for Arts, Culture and Communication and attended a postgraduate course in 'Leading Global Business' at Harvard Business School.
