    Adolescent Development Manager, UNICEF

    Marcy Levy is an Adolescent Development Manager with the Adolescent Development and Participation (ADAP) section at UNICEF HQ, with a focus on mental health, parenting of adolescents, adolescent pregnancy and adolescent caregivers, and youth-led advocacy. Marcy has over 20 years of experience working throughout Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean on adolescent development, HIV and SRH, child protection, gender-based violence, partnerships and resource mobilization. Prior to joining UNICEF, she worked with John Snow, Inc. (JSI) as Co-Director for the JSI/World Education Center for HIV and Infectious Diseases and Senior HIV Advisor; and with a number of international and local organizations in various leadership roles. Marcy has a Masters degree in Population and International Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.

Prior to GSV, Luben was an Analyst at ThinkEquity Partners, an investment banking firm focusing on the venture capital market. Based on his multinational background from Europe and the U.S., Luben offers a unique perspective on international markets. His professional credentials are complemented by his achievements as a world-class tennis player on the ATP Tour, and by leading UCLA as its Captain and #1 player to win the NCAA Championship in 2005. Luben is a member of the Investment Committee of the ATP Tour, the governing body of the men’s professional tennis circuit.

Prior to this led Seedstars World Competition, a team of 5 event managers in 5 regions: Latin America, Africa, Asia, Central Eastern Europe & Central Asia, Middle East. Planned the startups competitions in 95 countries around the world: sourced startups, organized demo days, etc. Apart from that since joining Seedstars was working as an Event Manager organizing 500+ participants summits in Switzerland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, etc. Before Seedstars, worked as International Relations Officer at Babi Yar Holocaust Memorial Center. Led the communication with international stakeholders on fundraising for the Babi Yar Holocaust Memorial Centre Fund. Obtained 2 master degrees in International Relations & Spanish Translation in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine) and University of Nicosia (Cyprus).
