    Alastair Mackie is the Head of Digital Development, Commercial at the Financial Times, based in London. In this role Mackie is responsible for developing commercial opportunities for the FT’s advertising and consumer subscriptions divisions on a global basis. Since 2017, he has held specific responsibility for developing the business strategy for audio including podcasting, audio services and smart speakers.

    Since joining the FT as a graduate trainee in 2004, Mackie has taken on several roles including Head of Digital Advertising Solutions and has worked across the organisation’s operations in London, New York and Singapore.

    Aleksandra Torbica is Associate Professor at the Department of Social & Political Sciences at Bocconi and Director of CERGAS Bocconi – the Centre for Research on Health and Social Care Management. In 2020 she was nominated Special Advisor to the Chair of the Pan-European Commission on Health and Sustainable Development to rethink policy priorities in the light of pandemics established by the WHO Regional Office for Europe. Her research interests revolve around analyzing the economic evaluation of healthcare programs; Health Technology Assessment (HTA); the governance of healthcare systems and evaluation of public policy and programs.

    Kurt Munz is an assistant professor of marketing at Bocconi University. He has degrees in psychology, communication, and marketing, including a PhD in marketing from NYU Stern School of Business, and teaches marketing and consumer behavior. He takes an experimental approach to research in consumer behavior, and often focuses on the influence of new technology on consumer judgment and decision making, and explores how emerging marketing or choice contexts affect what consumers buy.

    Giuseppe Soda is Dean of SDA Bocconi school of management and Professor of Organization Theory & Social Network Analysis at Bocconi University. He is a leading scholar on network analysis, and how it can help design effective organizations and firm governance, and his research has looked at both when and how firms should leverage greater connectivity within and across their boundaries to enhance performance and how organizational architectures, organizational networks and inter-firm collaborations influence organizational outcomes. His work has been published in top management journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science and Academy of Management Journal. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of GMAC.

    Samuel is an entrepreneur and product manager who has experience building and raising venture capital for a startup in the healthtech industry. After achieving 3rd place in the 2021 FTxBocconi Challenge, Samuel went on to secure an internship at the FT within Business Development, working with the FT Talent team. He is currently studying a BSc in Business Analytics at Loughborough University and has experience from companies like Google, Deutsche Bank and Samsung.
